Edgewater Brewery Menu

Similar experience as Tyler C. We went in just after noon and, while we were greeted with menus soon after seating ourselves, we didn't see our waitress again until over 30 minutes later when our food arrived. She didn't stop by to explain why we were waiting so long despite there only being 3 other occupied tables or to check on how we were doing. The whole time we waited I watched all but one of the staff go in and out of a door leading outside to where they took their breaks and hung out. The one member of the staff who remained inside was a rather curt looking woman who was playing on a laptop for the entire duration of our visit. When we got our food it was extremely overcooked and there were hairs in the fries. The waitress never stopped by to check on how the food was at all. The next time we saw her was when the bill was brought to us. The staff made it seem like we were inconveniencing them by being there. Sorry if we were disturbing your play time by contributing to your business, we won't be back to make that mistake in the future. This place has gone downhill rapidly since our first experiences there soon after the restaurant opened.

Has a young and fun vibe, good music playing, and I didn't see a single cantankerous crusty old local. Reminds me of certain brewpubs in my old stomping grounds--Ft. Collins and Denver. The beer is very good and my wife and I enjoyed our meals. The burgers are the best I've had in town and the menu seems more creative than most around. Will be back for sure, especially in the summer when we can sit outside.

Ate there friday and the next day had a very bad reaction that was akin to food poisoning. I'm not saying that they gave me food poisoning, but I had not eaten that friday till I had eaten there. I had a taco salad with chicken. The food was fair, and the service was fine, but I question there food handling and storage simply because of the reaction I had the next day. My wife had fish and chips and enjoyed it. She suffered no ill effects. If you go, I recommend a plain vegan salad, or the water, that should be safe.

If you've patronized their 12th street location, you'll be familiar with the beer, but the food here is traditional brew pub. They must have cleaned up their act, because the food was excellent. The hamburgers are the best in town since the departure of Smashburger.

There is a group of us that came here, all of us from out of town. Let me start by saying the beer I had the chance to try was great and don't pass up the fried cheese curds!!! The reason I'm only giving 4 stars (one added for the nice comment below from management. I am hoping she didn't get in to trouble we weren't upset but happy the staff was able to work so well together) is because the bartender was HAMMERED and not attentive at all. She brought us two sets of drinks, never given to the right person, broke a couple glasses, was slurring, and tried to use the excuse that the mayor was at the bar. Of course she was doing shots and taking pictures with them so I understand that it takes a little extra time. ;-) We were very courteous considering she didn't put our drinks on the tab and we brought it to her attention because we didn't want her to be stuck with a possible extra tab but almost couldn't understand anything she was saying by the time we were ready to check out. I understand how the bar, regulars, and locals work. I was a bartender/bar manager for 12 years from the northwest to the south. I actually wanted to give a lower mark but the servers stepped in to make sure we got our food delivered, got our ticket, and were super friendly! The food wasn't gourmet but it went great with some good beer and good company...

Cool looking place. Nice outdoor seating. Good drinks and love the taco salad. They also have some good burgers.

Onion rings are the best I've had in a Resturant . It's good food, but nothing special. There are lots of young folks there so must be great for young adults.

I wish I could come even close to explaining how absolutely terrible the management is here. It really seems like they couldn't give two shits about this place! Most of the staff seem to know what they're doing except a few waitresses ...who apparently think it's perfectly fine to play on their phones right in front of customers or just the fact that they don't even care enough to help their tables. Also I find it very important to mention that the events here are very poorly planned to the point where you're asking yourself if the owners even want their own restaurant to succeed.

I ordered the apple curry and it tastes as bad as it smells in your hallway when your neighbors are cooking it; HOWEVER, the Rado burger was the best thing to grace my lips since that girl who was wayyyy out of my league got drunk and allowed me to kiss her. The bacon was super crispy, avocado was as smooth as melted butter. The atmosphere was great too, you must pass a few tweakers on the way here but it's well worth it.

I really like Edgewater maybe even more than the original Kannah Creek. I've always had really good service here, even when they were super busy. They also handle large parties well. I'm not a huge beer fan, but I love Edgewater's margaritas. They are made with fresh lime and aren't too sweet. The food at Edgewater is also amazing. I'm super impressed with their veggie burger, and it's the best in town in my opinion. The onion rings are homemade and fresh. The fried green beans are also delicious. I highly recommend Edgewater. I come here often because everyone else likes it, too.

This is Kannah Creek's second location. I have never visited the original location- so I don't have much to compare it to in that sense (though according to my boyfriend, the food menus are different)- but I HAVE drank my fair share of craft beer and I think Kannah Creek's is pretty darn good. We were down in Grand Junction for the weekend so we decided to stop in for a couple beers. The brewery is a good size and they have a big space for outdoor seating, which was perfect for enjoying the sunshine while we were there. I tried their hefeweizen, IPA, and stout and enjoyed all of them. The hefe was really refreshing and exactly what I was looking for on a warm spring day! The IPA, though, was probably my favorite. I've tried Kannah Creek's IPA in bottles before (their IPA, amber, and pale are sold in mixed 12 packs around Denver), but drinking it fresh at the brewery made it even better. It was floral and really well balanced; not in-your-face hoppy. Not that I mind in-your-face hoppy, but it's sometimes nice to find an IPA that strikes a good balance. Food menu was fairly extensive and seemed to consist of creative but basic bar food. We were mostly looking for beer, but split an order of the beer battered green beans suggested by our server. They were a perfect snack. Our server was pretty cool too and everything came out quickly.

I had The Rado and it was awesome. Always add an over easy egg. Great beer, great environment, great waitresses.

I am still trying to figure out why you can't see the river from a place called the Edgewater Brewery. I had the fish and chips which were pretty good. The waiter was hard to locate when we needed the check, but otherwise it was a pleasant lunch. The bathrooms were very nicely decorated. I especially liked the stone/steel tile job.

Me and a few friends went to Edgewater Tap & Grill last Friday night and had a great time! I wasn't familiar with Kannah Creek Brewing so I was very happy to see they had a good IPA, the Broken Oar IPA had a nice hoppy bite to it. I think everyone in our group of 5 found a different ale to their liking. Edgewater has most of the ale bases covered, from a blonde to a stout and everything in between. We started with some cheese curds, which were lightly battered and came with ranch. A great start for all of us and went quite nicely with the first couple of rounds. For dinner I had the Executive burger (sautéed baby bellas, caramelized onions, beef demi glace, horseradish white cheddar) and that was downright tasty. It could have used some more horseradish flavor, and the cheese was kind of lost really. Maybe go with horsey sauce and more cheddar? The fries were also good, not sure if they were cut on site but there were very fresh tasting. Everyone else was happy with their meals too, and we all said we'll be back for more.

Edgewater Tap & Grill is in the same building as Kannah Creek Brewing Company's bottling operation. The menu is different from the location on 12th street, they did away with pizza and focused on burgers. The onion rings are tempura battered and taste divine. We all ordered different burgers and the Rado was my favorite. There is a huge lawn right off the patio complete with games. It's hard to beat a Broken Oar IPA while hanging out at Edgewater.

Service is beyond terrible. Bad staff with seemingly no leadership or accountability. There is no host, so we seated ourselves. Then waited 10 minutes without being contacted by a server. Servers were walking around by us and there were only 3 other tables. Apparently they don't want my business. Will never be back and will strongly discourage others from going here

Edgewater has one of the best burgers in town. Build your own with a ton of options or order one of their creations! Delicious fries, delicious garlic fries and delicious onion rings! Cheese curds are amazing and the taco salad is awesome! I usually just get the hefeweizen, it's not bad...they also have yummy flavored lemonades! Friendly staff, laid back environment, great outdoor area!

There is no host, because it's open seating. So you can sit where you like! Insid or outside. I love the patio, great beer, even better food! A wonderful staff of young down to earth fun servers! The burgers from what I gathered is a never frozen patty. (Delicious) there dressing are made fresh from scratch! And yummy there chicken and pulled pork is so good as well. Good fun place to hang out. I will be around a lot for football season, got to love the big screen and don't forget the chicken wings!

Beer is tasty, good deal if you hit happy hour. Classy, trendy, fun.. A good place to come for burgers, onion rings, brews... Portions are wimpy. Come here if you are a wimpy skinny person. Lost one star for this, I guess you have to leave room for beer?

Our expectations were high because we've never had a bad meal at their sister restaurant, Kannah Creek. Let me start out by saying we were greeted promptly, the servers were attentive, and the beer was good. If you're thirsty, give this place a try. If you're hungry, SKIP IT. The food went straight into a box and then straight into our chicken pen. DISGUSTING. The chili dog was something you'd expect in a high school hot lunch line. (9 bucks by the way). It was boiled not grilled, and served on a completely soggy bun. Gross. The Black n Bleu burger came on a plate that was completely drenched with watery blue cheese dressing. There wasn't a single bleu cheese crumble anywhere on the burger, and the bottom of the bun was completely soaked from the mess the cook made on the plate and didn't bother to clean up before they served it. After I got done using 3 huge napkins to clean the plate and sopping wet bun, I gave it a test and got blasted with so much seasoning I couldn't taste anything else. Blech. It was like the bottle fell over their seasoning shaker. Washed the nasty taste down with a big gulp of beer. Check, please. Thanks. BYE. Since neither of us barely touched our food, you'd have thought the servers might have had a clue that it sucked, but nobody said anything and we walked out of there almost 50 bucks light never to return. I hope I've saved you a trip.
